Wildcard is a dynamic gala benefitting the Renaissance Society’s 2018-19 program.

Wildcard presents an exclusive evening of artist activations and performances.

Wildcard introduces a new, biennial benefit model for the RenBen.

Wildcard reflects the Ren’s spirit of agility and experimentation.

Wildcard features by Eglė Budvytytė, Irena Haiduk, Pierre Huyghe, Matchess, Pope.L, Mårten Spångberg, and Greg Stimac.

Each year the Renaissance Society hosts a benefit gala and that unites our community of supporters for an evening of art and celebration.

Taking a break from our usual art auction model, which we will return to in 2019, this year the Ren presents Wildcard, an exciting event shaped by artists in one of Chicago’s newest venues. Be prepared to be surprised, delighted, and intrigued by a program especially commissioned for this evening.

The success of our annual fundraiser bolsters our commitment to artists and their ideas, and it ensures that we remain free and open to the public. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the 2018–19 season of exhibitions, events, and publications.
