Matthew Metzger: Heirloom opens on Sunday, June 13. While current Covid-19 protocols prevent us from hosting our traditional opening day reception and in-person artist talk, we look forward to welcoming visitors between noon and 6pm to see the exhibition.

The artist and curator will be present during opening hours.

To attend Heirloom on opening day, please register on Tock and be sure to review our current visiting policies, which include masks and social distancing.

Please note that on Sunday, June 13, the University of Chicago will be observing convocation ceremonies and events throughout campus. Upon registering on Tock, all visitors will receive detailed information about local street closures and gallery access. We advise that extra time may be required to park and navigate campus. Learn more about convocation here.

We hope to host an in-person reception for Heirloom later this summer in accordance with University of Chicago campus event policies. Please stay tuned for this announcement!
