Josef Dobrowsky Born in Carlsbad (Old Austria) 1889. Attended Academy of Creative Arts, Vienna. Member of “Secession” group since 1929. Awarded national prize 1929. Works in Austrian Gallery and Albertina Collection.

Georg Ehrlich Born in Vienna, February 22, 1897. Attended school for Industrial Arts in Vienna. Is active as a painter, graphic artist and sculptor. Member of “Hagenbund.” Works in National Gallery and Albertina, Vienna, British Museum and Metropolitan.

Gerhart Frankl Born in Vienna, 1901. Worked in Anton Kolig at Karnten. Works in Albertina, Vienna, Modern Gallery, Vienna, Saxony Art Association, Dresden, Wallraf-Richartz Museum, Cologne, etc.

Professor Ludwig F. Graf Studied at Academy Creative Arts, Vienna and in Paris. Participated in world expositions, Paris, St. Louis, Rome, Barcelona. Works in Modern Gallery, Vienna, and Leighton Gallery, Milwaukee.

Albert P. Gutersloh Born in Vienna, 1897. Was actor and designed stage sets for Moliere-Hoffmanthal’s “Die Heirat wider Willem.” Works in private collections and Albertina, Vienna.

Felix Albrecht Harta Born in Budapest, 1884. Studied Munich, Paris and Vienna. Founded art association “Der Wassermann” in Salzburg, 1917. Won national gold medal, Vienna, 1920; Diplome d’Honneur at International Exposition, Bordeaux, 1927. Works in Austrian Gallery and Albertina, Vienna, Luxembourg, Paris, Caspari, Munich.

Carry Hauser Born in Vienna, 1895. Is president of “Hagenbund.” Work in Albertina, Vienna.

Ludwig Heinrich Jungnickel Born in Wunsiedel, 1891. Attended school Industrialism. Took part in decoration of Stoclet Palace, Brussels, with Klimt. Won medal International Art Exhibit, Rome, 1910, gold medal Amsterdam,1911. National medal, Leipzig 1914, silver medal, Panama Pacific, 1915.

Theodor Kern Born in Salzburg, 1900. Studied Art Academy, Vienna. Associated with Anton Feistaure. Noted as frescoe painter. Works in Meuring Collection, Amsterdam, Reiger Collection, Vienna and Museum in Salzburg.

Professor Ferdinand Kitt Born in Vienna, 1887. Studied Academy. Member of “Secession” since 1919 and president 1926 to 1929. Works in Secession Gallery, Vienna, Austrian Gallery, Vienna and elsewhere.

Alfred Kubin Born in Leitmeritz, 1877. Is a graphic artist and illustrator.

Oskar Laske Born in Czernowitz. Studied Academy Creative Arts. Member of “Secession,” Vienna, Society of Painters, London. Awarded prize of City of Vienna, 1928. Works in Modern Gallery, Vienna; Prado, Madrid; Painting Gallery, Munich.

Franz Lerch Born in Vienna, 1895. Studied Academy Creative Arts, Vienna, Member “Hagenbund.” Winner Austrian National prize awarded for this painting.

Georg Mayer-Marton Born in Gyor. Studied in Academy Creative Arts, Vienna and Munich. Member “Hgenbund,” Vienna. Winner honorary prize Community of Vienna, 1928. Works in Albertina, Vienna, Painting Gallery, Munich, Moscow Museum, Budapest Museum, and private collections.

Maximilian Reinitz Born in Vienna, 1872. Studied Academy of Art, Munich. Winner Community prize, Vienna, 1927, National prize, Vienna, 1930. Works in Albertina, Vienna.

Egon Schiele Born in Tulln. Died 1918, Vienna. First exhibited 1909. Considered beginner of new movement. Works in Modern Gallery and Albertina, Vienna, also widely owned privately. Bibl. A. Franz Sedlacek Born in 1891, Bresslau. Custodian Technical Musuem, Vienna since 1921. Member “Secession” since 1927. Winner gold medal Barcelona, 1929.

Bartholomaus Stefferl Born Gleisdorf, 1890. Studied shcool Industrial Arts, Vienna. Works in Albertina, Vienna.

Professor Wilhem Thony Born Graz, February 10, 1888/ Studied Academy Creative Arts winning gold and silver medals. Awarded Austrian National prize, 1911, Austrian prize 1930. Member new “Secession,” Munich, corresponding member, “Secession” group Graz. Works in State Gallery, Munich, Modern Gallery, Vienna, State Gallery Prague, Albertina, Vienna, National Gallery, Graz.

Victor Tischler Born in Vienna, 1890. Studied Vienna Academy of Art and Paris. Exhibited widely. Works Modern Gallery, Albertina, Vienna, State Gallery, Amsterdam, Art Museum, The Hague.

Rudolf Wacker Born Bregenz, 1893. Studied Academy Vienna Welmar. Works in Albertina, Vienna, Art Museums, Ulm and Lucerne.

Franz Zulow Born Vienna, March 15 1883. Studied Industrial Arts, Vienna. Member “Klimt” group. Winner Austrian National prize 1928, gold medal exhibition of decorative art, Paris, 1926. Works in Albertina, Vienna and Austrian National Gallery.
