Posters have been a beloved accompaniment to the Renaissance Society’s exhibitions program for more than 25 years. Beyond communicating essential information, they have served as a platform for long form essays, design experimentation, and individual artworks. As such, this visual archive tells the story of the Ren’s ongoing commitment to artists and their ideas.
In a special presentation for this year’s EXPO CHICAGO, taking place at Navy Pier September 27-30, we are for the first time offering for sale a curated selection of display-quality posters from exhibitions by artists including Mai-Thu Perret, Trisha Donnelly, and Thomas Hirschhorn, along with notable group exhibitions organized by Solveig Øvstebø, Hamza Walker, and Susanne Ghez.
You can find us in booth 469, where we’ll have unframed flat posters starting at $15, as well as selected framed posters. All proceeds from these sales benefit the Ren’s 2018-19 program of exhibitions and events.
Can’t make it to EXPO? Stay tuned for an online poster sale later this fall.
