keyon gaskin’s works obviate the traditional divide between spectators and artist, inviting audience members to move throughout the performance space and challenging them to experience the work in unexpected ways.

At the Renaissance Society, doors will open at 6:30 and guests are invited to join us for refreshments before the performance begins at 7pm.

Intermissions launched in January 2017 as a new programming series devoted to ephemeral and performative works, staged in the Renaissance Society’s empty gallery in between exhibitions. This recurring platform presents two events every year, supporting a wide variety of live projects.

This series is funded by a grant from the Efroymson Family Fund.
