Coast Chimu Peru Gauze Fragment 12, 19 1/2 x 13 1/8 inches, Courtesy of Ann McNear. Greenish-blue gauze with aline of birds brocaded in tan, brown nd red cross the lower part. Both warp and weft threads are twisted in the base fabric.

Chimu Brocade Panel with Tapestry Stripes 2, 16 1/4 x 14 inches, Courtesy of Ann McNear. Central band of crimson with human figure. At top and bottom are narrow bands with similar little men in a row. This piece is unusual in that it cons.
